Review of Die Sister, Die! (1978) by Bill B — 08 Oct 2011
Mostly a time waster Die Sister Die has a great title but not a lot of thrill. To classify this as horror is sorta a stretch because the only parts that resemble the genre are found in dream sequences.
Edith Atwater has had a couple of goes @ killing herself & her brother Jack Ging hires a nurse Antoinette Bower (who is actually working as a waitress in a cocktail bar) to look after her. In actuality he's plotting her murder for the inheritance.
A little slow as it sorta has a 70s American Gothic feel to it. You might find that you sorta sleep walk through it like Antoinette Bower sleepwalks through her role. Her acting methods are almost coma inducing.
