Review of Die Hard: With a Vengeance (1995) by Carlos M — 25 Sep 2015
Starts off well enough with a thrilling first-half and benefits greatly from the hilarious chemistry between Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson. Unfortunately, the movie doesn't keep it's momentum going, suffering from a second-half littered with dull un-inventive action sequences and lots of plot holes.
Simon was definitely a better central villain than what we were given in "Die Hard 2" and Jeremy Irons delivers a good performance, but what was lacking was the tense hero-villain dynamic of the first movie.
An overall okay-isn action movie that delivers on some decent action and humor, but I can't help but feel this could have been so much better.
