Review of Die Hard: With a Vengeance (1995) by Barry N — 04 Sep 2011
How good can a third film in a series get? While this film isn't the greatest third film in a film series ever, it is a really great one. This film breaks the confines of the Die Hard confines. The first film took place entirely at Nakatomi Plaza, the second film took place entirely at Washington D.
C. airport, this film takes place entirely in New York City, which allows for more freedom with the action, and they take every freaking advantage they could. There is only one reason that anybody watches this, to watch some gratifying action sequences, and by this account, Die Hard With A Vengeance doesn't disappoint in the slightest.
The only actual flaw to this film is that some scenes do get kind of ludicrous, but even then, they are still entertaining to watch. As a side note, I also loved the banter between Bruce Willis and Samuel L.
Jackson. This is a great action film to be added to the Die Hard francise.
