Review of Die Hard 2 (1990) by Nate G — 11 Apr 2012
Die Hard 2 is probably the least of the original Die Hard trilogy Iâ(TM)d have seen. I always wondered if that was because I didnâ(TM)t enjoy it the first time, or just bad luck. Having watched it again now, I reckon it was just bad luck, quite frankly I really enjoyed the film, it wasnâ(TM)t completely brainless, and granted not as good as the awesome original, but enjoyable in itâ(TM)s own rights, and with a fascinating bad guy in Colonel Stuart, who has one of the mostâ¦.different dà (C)buts ever, appearing naked performing martial arts exercises.
The plot was more lucid then expected, compared to present action thrillers, Die Hard 2 is intelligible with twists and believable characters, with several characters from the originals, such as John McClaneâ(TM)s wife Holly, wanker extreme Richard Thornberg and Al Powell, returning in supporting roles. Definitely a film Iâ(TM)d wanna watch again.
