Review of Die Hard 2 (1990) by Gerardo R — 31 Dec 2012
Die Hard 2 tries to imitate the first in a different context. It is successful with the exagerated action sequences but it lacks the style and depth of the first film. In the first one, the main cartoonish characters were the police chief and FBI agents, but here, all the characters are underdeveloped.
It is a fun popcorn flick that allows one to enjoy the action and laugh at the ridiculous solutions to predicaments. I enjoy it for what it is: a fun, guilty pleasure.
