"JOHN MCCLANE MUST SAVE AN AIRPORT".

- 'Die Hard 2' is the 1990 sequel of the popular action film franchise around John McClane directed by Renny Harlin (Cliffhanger, Deep Blue See). With the tagline 'Die Harder', this movie builds on the success of its predecessor. Typical brainless action and the same jokes and quotes as in the first film, this second installment is still able to entertain. This time the story is set on an airport. With Bruce Willis (Pulp Fiction), Bonnie Bedellla (Die Hard) and Bill Sadler (Iron Man 3) and small appearances from Robert Patrick (Terminator 2: Judgement Day) and Reginald VelJohnsen (Family Matters) as Al Powell.

It's Christmas Eve and John McClane (Willis) is waiting at Washington Dulles International Airport for his wife Holly (Bedella) to arrive from L.A. Having a drink at the bar, he notices how two suspicious men are carrying a package. He decides to follow them and gets involved in a shooting. With the help of his old friend Sgt. Al Powell (VelJohnson) McClane is able to identify one of the dead guy's and stumbles upon a dangerous plot: terrorists are planning to take control of the airport to free General Ramon Esperanza, who is coming in on a military vessel. Unable to convince the airport security, McClane feels it's his duty to step into action and put a stop to the threat.
