Ode to Joy has never been the same since Die Hard. Director John McTiernan has crafted a smart, adrenaline-packed film that has become the measuring stick by which all other action films are measured. Die Hard is the epitome of the '80s Action Movie, and it has never been topped.
Bruce Willis and Alan Rickman's characters (John McClane and Hans Gruber) continue to top the lists of best movie heroes and villains; which is a testament to their excellent performances. Die Hard is a landmark film that is a definite must see.
