Review of Die Hard (1988) by Sugarfall S — 31 Aug 2014
There's not much wrong with this movie and what little is very few care about especially considering it was the first of the series. Bruce was one of the first modern heroes to allow himself to be less than perfect.
..both Stallone and Shwartz always had to portray themselves as bigger than life. As the series improves it's hard to imagine how they can get better without hitting a threshold but I'm still looking forward to the next sequel despite "GOOD DAY"s disappointing box office.
The charm of Twinkie eating cops and the flare of both villains and heroes was low key here but bear in mind Bruce was not quite the giant he became in no small part to this first in the series.
