Review of Die Another Day (2002) by Anthony S — 24 Oct 2012
Definitely Brosnan's Moonraker.
Such a shame this was Brosnan's final Bond movie because the first half is terrific, with probably his best performance in the role, another fantastic pre title sequence and brilliant sword fight.
It's the second half of the movie where it suddenly turns more into science fiction, with virtual reality, invisible cars, robot suits that control giant lasers and the lowest point of the Bond series; the ridiculous and horrendous CGI tsunami surfing scene.
It also has the worst Bond girl in history with Halle Berry as Jinx with some truly abysmal acting.
Luckily as had happened before with the series, another Bond came along to bring him back to reality.
