Review of Die Another Day (2002) by Ronald N — 09 Mar 2013
Through there's an unnecessary use of frenetic action scenes, a silly dependence of gadgets and a Brosnan who din't give their best as 007, as a result he gets overshadow by the Bond's girl and villains.
"Die Another Day" is certainly saved by a talented cast, highlights to Berry as another bad-ass Bond girl on the list and Stephens as an memorable villain, especial mention to Rosamund Pike and a better than the expected Rick Yune as the secondary villains.
Highlights to Lee Tamahori's great idea to do a tribute to the previous films adding references other Bond films, from "Dr. No" to "Goldeneye". With an lavishly crafted plot, direction and script; "Die Another Day", thanks for their much mistakes and some privileges, succeeds with fair as another chapter of the Brosnan era.
