Everything I liked about this movie is Hugh Grant and Sam Elliott, even although Grant does not really give an intersting performance and Elliott has nothing to work with at all. SJP plays Carrie stranded in the middle of nowhere, and I couldn't care less.
Ultimately, the movie is an average romcom (more rom than com) that will only work for those who are big fans of romcoms from the Hollywood factory and are either hopeless romantics or deeply (and blindly) in love.
