Review of Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star (2003) by Dustin B — 05 Apr 2010

I liked this movie. It kept me entertained throughout. While the plot line and ultimate out come of the story was predictable I enjoyed the humor and story telling getting there. I give it two thumbs up! The real former child stars singing as adults during the closing credits was also a treat.

That these people did not become grown up stars was not due to lack of talent, its just the nature of the business, a cute child star rarely transitions into an adult star because its not what they were known for.

And for them it becomes a serious problem to be so hot and sought after one day and nothing to anyone the next!
