Warren Beatty is a fantastic actor and I can't image anyone else playing this role. Granted the movie sucks on make-up and special effects in comparison to today's standards, back in 1990 it was great! Yes it's hokey but the D.
T. comics were! That's the point. Overall, it was a good 90s movie.
