Review of Dick Tracy (1990) by Daniel O — 25 Feb 2012
It's a stylistic wonder and part of a series of late 80s/early 90s comic book movies. It plays at times like a vanity piece for Warren Beatty. The cast is made up of several stars and character actors, so it manages to succeed, regardless.
Pacino is clearly having a blast playing the villain Big Boy Caprice: a role that would earn him yet another Oscar nomination.
