The constant voice over narration got on my nerves a bit, and it really didn't really make any impact on me until the very last scene. It's well acted, and without having seen [Rec], I can safely assume that the whole pseudo-doc approach was a fresh approach to a zombie flick.
As solid as it was, however, it's not the most memorable of Romero's movies.
