Disappointingly trashy stuff from Romero. The characterisations are tacky (the drunk english professor who can wield a cross bow!?), the cast are weak, the video-loving-rubbernecking-nation allegory is clunky, and the dialogue is desperately contrived.
On the plus side it is intermittently atmospheric and fun, with some inventive zombie-dispatching gore.
