Review of Diary of the Dead (2007) by Sarah A — 10 Apr 2010
This film attempts an approach like Cloverfield, succeeds in a way because there are two cameras at a point and sometimes real shots are used. But its by far realisticly, that wasnt the goal for sure but why not show your skills Romero? Awkward situations occur and the vision thru the lens isnt the best at all.
I must say one of the better zombie movies, its narrated Terminator End of days-style an the things that happen are very well set, not local! At a certain point you see the National Garde officer who catches on in the sequel.
The gore is again typically A Romero, a little shabby but ok. Not bad!
