The best word to describe Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul is stupid. It's just flat-out stupid. Not even funny stupid like Dumb & Dumber, no, it's just unbearably stupid. I genuinely question how anyone thought this was a good idea. This film is so bad and 5 years too late, that even the original cast got too old, forcing the studio to replace everyone and even parade that fact in their marketing.
