The best in a decent franchise, this movie actually surprised me with some genuine laughs. David Bowers has indeed taken the formula of the first Wimpy movie and elevated it to new and crazier heights.
Story is basic, acting is still just ok, albeit over the top, and some of the humor is still groan inducing. But, the movie is entertaining, jokes hit more than they miss. The movie reminds me of Grown Ups (a movie I actually liked) with kids.
Surprisingly good.
