I'm not a a big lover of kids films , in fact , most annoy me but when a film is as good as Dairy Of A Wimpy kid it always surprises me.This is a cracking little film that revolves around a boy who is starting middle school and is finding it impossible to become one of the popular kids.
True , the format has been done many times before and the best comparison to this , is the TV show The Wonder Years but still , it's a format that wins time and time again.The acting is brilliant and the comic timing is as good as you would see from any adult.
I understand the books are popular but nowhere near as successful as The Harry Potter novels but given the choice I would pick Diary of a Wimpy Kid over that annoying young wizard every time.
