Review of Diary of a Wimpy Kid (2010) by Olly B — 29 Jul 2012
If you've read the books you'll know that Diary of a Wimpy Kid is hilarious, and almost too real. The books presents new pressures of today's tweenage angst, and typical sibling rivaries that everyone can relate with.
My middle school days were very simialar, I was a gaucky looking teen, with a face full of zits and the nickname "Pizza Face". Being picked last came naturally. And my so-called friends were 'Unique' to say it nicely. The family friendly movie poked fun at the: "Get popular over night schemes" and added a few twist to keep the viewers laughing for more. It's A decent comedy, but no new material.
