The movie Diary of a Wimpy Kid was a fine idea, but when you attempting to make a live action movie out of something like this, you need to put effort. For starters, this should have been a family movie everyone could enjoy, but only interested the elementary school kids watching.
Greg's a little ass who acts like he's an adult, and Rowley is dumb and can't learn how to grow up. All the scenes were stupid, the animated portions were done awfully, and you just can't make yourself believe this movie takes itself seriously.
I know kids movies don't need to be super serious, but if your going to make something this stupid make it an animated television show or something other than this. All I can describe this as is stupid, extremely annoying, pointless, and not at all enjoyable.
