Review of Diary of a Wimpy Kid (2010) by Barbara C — 29 Dec 2010
This is quite a charming and cute film about coming of age. The plot revolves around a sixth-grade boy, Greg Heffley, and his first year at a new school. The character faces a series of encounters with new social rules and expectations among his peers, and like all children on the verge of adolescence, he doesn't always fit in the way he'd like.
I think all of us growing up go through the same things Greg went through in the film and even though the film is targeted at kids, believe me, many of us may have some fond memories of middle school.
..I know I do! I thought Zachary Gordon did a great job playing Greg and so did his best friend. If you have kids then its a must...for the adults out there, rent it because it will bring back memories of childhood.
