Review of Diana Vreeland: The Eye Has to Travel (2012) by Brad S — 18 Jul 2013
Diana vreeland - a philosopher of appearance, a comic of control, a visionary of evolution. This film chronicles the life of the fashionista through her memoirs, drawing on the upbringing and life experiences that shaped her ideals and influenced her career.
The documentary portrays a hard, creative, storyteller with little time for family outside creating. Diana's candid philosophies are filled with fantasy - making her charismatic, yet strangely unwelcoming.
A solid documentary, but not exactly my cup of content.
