Review of Diana (2013) by Zac C — 25 Dec 2013
Naomi Watts is a fantastic actress, however, I believe she was directed to be a little too tight. There is not enough anger is her eyes as Di witnesses the land mine issue. Not enough emotion. It's like she has to be collected all the time, and no person is like that.
Where is Princess Diana's passion? Her hidden issues and frustrations? This movie only covered the last two years of her life, that's not good to begin with. She definitely deserved more than this.
It's just a shame that we cover so little, it's like I'm just seeing one aspect of her final two years. Where is the palace drama, her children, or anything besides the surgeon?
