Review of Diamonds Are Forever (1971) by Donald S — 09 Oct 2008
This is an interesting movie, this almost feels like a "Rat-Pack" version of James Bond, where he goes after Blofeld, with barely any reference to the murder of his wife. Unfortunatly, this is not only Connery's last Bond movie, the last reference to SPECTRE, but it's his worst.
The reason is that he is acting like the cliche of being Bond. Sit tight because for the next couple of movies, it's about to go downhill from here.
