Review of Diamonds Are Forever (1971) by Sarah W — 31 Oct 2008
I actually think this was pretty bad, and not only because it has almost no similarity with the book. At this point, the series was going to almost camp mode, which the Roger Moore ones became and Sean Connery wasn't really the right man for that type of Bond.
The whole thing just seemed off, despite some genuinely funny parts. You could almost put Austin Powers in the same movie and have it still work.
