I'm going to have to watch this again, but the plot seemed completely incomprehensible to me. More than any other Bond I have seen.
To add the wreck, there wasn't any memorable action scene. The best Bond (Connery) didn't go out with a bang. In fact it felt more like a watered down and stirred Martini.
