Review of Diamonds Are Forever (1971) by Michael T — 24 Feb 2009
Bond in Vegas taking on Blofeld (Charles Grey this time). The last Connery film (apart from the non-Eon productions NEVER SAY NEVER AGAIN), this film set the standard for Bond pictures in the 1970s. Larger than life plots, eccentric henchmen, massive car chases, stupid local law enforcement officers, and an increasingly superhuman Bond.
