Review of Dial M for Murder (1981) by Sean S — 08 Mar 2014
Although very obviously primarily confined to one set like Hitchcock's earlier film Rope (1948), this adaptation of a play manages to elicit PG-rated thrills in classic Hitchcock style. The acting is on point and dramatic in all the right places.
Gripping yet restrained.
