Review of Dial M for Murder (1981) by Rasmus P — 24 Jul 2008
Another extremely well-composed Hitch-flick is among his most refined (along with Rope, Rear Window and Lifeboat), keeping the action in (almost) one single location. Although based on a play Hitchcock makes it his own helped by wonderful actors in all roles.
This is storytelling at it's best with a brilliant mise-en-scene.
