Review of Dial M for Murder (1981) by Kathy A — 26 Jul 2008
I feel that this one has not aged well. I didn't feel much tension or excitement. It felt very stagy with rather stiff performances. Grace Kelly was gorgeous but why was she so robotic, reciting all her lines so flatly? If I want to be thrilled by 1950s-vintage Hitch, I'll go back to North by Northwest and Vertigo.
