Review of Dial M for Murder (1954) by Meghan D — 16 Jan 2009
This is hitchcock at his best. Yes, the whole 3-D stuff is gimicky, but everything else is quintesential Hitchcock executed superbly and cast superbly. It's super engaging, to the point that it's almost mezmorizing, but of course Hitch hits you with comedy every so often to give you a welcome break.
The only question is, would it be as wonderful on a second viewing? I'm thinking not.
