Review of Dial M for Murder (1954) by Mike E — 03 Jul 2009
Perhaps well-made for the times, but a film constrained entirely to a one-room set felt too claustrophobic to me. The remake is much more suspenseful, I think owing to the grittier, more emotional performances as compared to Dial M's very 50's robotic acting style.
