Review of Dial M for Murder (1954) by Jacob C — 24 May 2013
A classic example of Hitchcock's genius, Dial M for Murder is not as much about the actual murder as it is the false conviction of an innocent person. The script and direction are stunning; the acting, however, leaves something to be desired.
Overall, the suspense and thrills mask the simply average acting, making this movie a solid success.
