Review of Dhoom 3 (2013) by Mitch L — 25 Dec 2013
I've NEVER been a fan of Bollywood action films. There mostly cheap imitation of American.
This time they have equalled anything done in the states. The sequences are tightly orchestrated , like a Bollywood Love song.
The story has a narrative arch & story line that has a Villains mist be will universally hated ( don't worry won't give any it points).
My most resonating insistence people see this movie is said in one word: CHICAGO!!
The Windy City is the true Star and winner of this film, as a life long Chicago Film Barista, I've attempted to see every Film set in my kind of town.
The city is shown in every imaginable veiw and angle if you like how Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight was shown. You'll love how it's shown thru an Indian Lens.
Even if you've never see a Bollywood film before you will not be lost. The action is so intense you won't have time to look at the subtitles. Plus the story is set in such a visual manner most will be understanding the plot lines five minutes into the film.
If you've got a jonzing to see a action film with actors younger then 70, and need something to shake Kris Kringle of your new tacky sweater Aunt Edna gave you.
Most definitely Dhoom it!!
The story.
