Review of Dhoom 2 (2006) by Gerardo V — 30 Mar 2008

One of the few indian movies I have watched and to be honest I had mixed feelings about it. There is no doubt it is visually stunning and the cast all look amazing. The main gripes were the running time, 3 hours! Surely they could have cut out a few of the many slow-mo shots of the young cast.

Also only one of them appears to be able to act and she doesn't even come into it until an hour into the movie. It just seems like one long (really long) promo for the actors, as they flit from location to location singing and shooting badguys.

All in all not something I would watch again but still a lot better than the last few hollywood action films I have seen such as Hitman.
