Review of Devil's Pond (2003) by Shawn M — 17 Jul 2008
PLOT: A young married couple go on a camping trip as their honeymoon. The wife (Tara Reid) soon realizes her husband (Kip Pardue) is not the man he appears to be.
ACTING: The acting was decent. I was surprised at Kip Pardue's acting versatility since I have only seen him in "Driven" and "Remember the Titans". His ability to transform into a monster was awesome.
ACTION: The movie moves at a good pace. The majority of the move features escape methods and twisted scenarios.
OVERALL: The movie was fairly decent considering the fact that it was mainly just 2 people. I enjoyed the idea on how you may think you know someone until you get them isolated and alone. I also enjoyed the idea of just how strong a woman's determination can be.
