Review of Devil's Doorway (1950) by Stella D — 21 Sep 2008
Remarkably enlightened western for 1950 in spite of robert taylor's cheesy performance as an indian. he's a shoshone civil war hero who comes home to fight for his ancestral land...with a female attorney.
naturally things don't go well. anthony mann called this the best script he ever read. I got sucked into this one lol.
