This is about as generic as horror flicks come. Two twenty-somethings are coming home from a trip to Mexico where they've bought a suitcase full of Spanish fly. They stop off at a strip club to test their product and soon find out that all the strippers are ghouls... flesh-eating monsters who for some reason became that way when the ghoul queen sold her soul to the devil. It's never really explained and it doesn't really matter. Ken Foree and Kelly Hu show up and the butt-kicking and flesh-munching begin, and they continue until they stop, and that's all there is to "The Devil's Den.".

The mood is lightened by a good bit of humor, delivered mostly by Devon Sawa as the wisecracking Quinn. He's got a certain Trey Parker quality about him and very good comedic timing. Other than that, nothing at all stands out about this film, but it's enough to make it fun to watch despite it's near total brainlessness. Kelly Hu plays an assassin, and when she isn't doing Kung Fu moves, she has the opposite effect of Sawa; she drags things down.

Moral of the story: beware of strippers with pointy teeth. It's "Zombie Strippers" meets "Bite Me!", then given a few drinks and a lobotomy.
