Under-rated film noir...by this reviewer too! Thought it was beautifully scored by Bernstein but the plot left me empty and indifferent. Denzel always delivers and thought Don Cheadle gave an intriguing performance but Beals - the devil in a blue dress - did nothing for me.
She was neither sexy nor devilish enough to be your typical femme fatale within a film noir. Three stars but two yawns!
