Review of Devil Girl from Mars (1954) by Scott W — 22 Aug 2013

Charming British sci-fi from 1954 sees small Scottish pub visited by a leather clad woman from Mars. Hugh McDermott is the square jawed token American, while the rest of the cast includes Hazel Court, Adrienne Corri and John Laurie who is marvellous as the landlord.

The effects are really quite good, although laughable by today's standards and the sets are impressive. Great fun!!
