Well what Monster shark has done is shown me a great time when I was bored despite all its overwalming negative reception. Lamberto Bava obesely creates this as a jaws rip off like Meany films in the 70s and 80s some of my favourites are. Grizzly, The pack, Great white, Piranha, Orca the kill whale and Meany others witch were cool.

Several boats are torn apart, badly wrecked corpses are washed ashore... something horrible is out in the Caribbean sea. The teeth marks on the bodies don't lead to any known animal, so scientist Dr. Stella Dickens suspects it's a so far unknown life form and strives to catch it alive. She doesn't know yet that ruthless scientists have genetically created this creature as a bioweapon, or that it has been designed to reproduce by asexual means. And that the company she works for created the creature and will stop at nothing to keep their secret.

Yeah really wired and wacked story but enjoyable the best parts are with the monster shark. They always said this was the worst of all the jaws rip offs but I really liked it much better then what everyone has told me. The acting is really bad Michal Sopkwi is really the only one that was putting on a good performance. The special effects are average to bad but really enjoyable to watch with all the blood and gore. The editing is so bad along with the music but this is one of those movies that is so bad it is fun to watch. It could be a pretty funny shark comedy if edited the right way.

Here are some facts I found.

The films cast and crew was made up of Italian, Latin, and American individuals and communicating on the production would often be a challenge. The cast shot their scenes speaking their native languages, knowing that the dialog would be dubbed in English later for release.

In an interview with star Michael Sopkiw it was revealed that despite the films seemingly warm Florida locations the waters that the cast had to swim in were often extremely cold.

Star Michael Sopkiw credits the films flaws and negative reviews to the productions limited budget, saying that Lamberto Bava was a great director.

Director Lamberto Bava had himself credited under the pseudonym John Old Jr. for this film.

But overall my final verdict is a hard one but it is a great movie to watch if you have nothing else to do. This movie is also Underrated.
