Review of Devil (2010) by Bob S — 31 Jan 2012
A pretty simple film about five strangers trapped in elevator with the devil. The filmâ(TM)s biggest problem is its failure to weave each characterâ(TM)s subplot adequately through the story. An effective spider web of complex connections among the ill-fated would have added more drama and mystery to the suspense.
The acting, in general, was poor - everyone from the security guards to the police to the victims. The devilâ(TM)s single elimination process made the film far more captive that it should have been because you do hang on waiting to find out who the last man standing is.
