Review of Devil (2010) by Don S — 24 Dec 2013
A PG-13 horror movie that actually worked for me. Based on a M. Night Shyamalan story, the pacing was perfect and the tension in the elevator was palpable. This is a supernatural horror story involving religious concepts, which is one of my favorite genres.
Above average acting (you must have that in a closed room story), and an adequate amount of blood though most violence takes place off-camera. Moody and taut, this is a winner.
