Review of Devil (2010) by Tero H — 21 Oct 2012
It has suspense, it manages to convey the feeling of a certain kind of mild claustrophofia, it has unexpected twists and a religious theme. I think if one goes and expects way too much more than a thriller, one might be disappointed.
It was stylishly directed as well and the acting was very fine. Bojana Novakovic's face reminded me a bit of Jodie Foster and Chris Messina's that of Thomas Jane. Not that it matters, just a thought of a resemblance there.
It also has a theme of sincere repentance in the end which seemed very similar to that in Constantine. This film is original enough, though, to make it on its on. If you like supernatural thrillers, this is worth checking out.
