I am so over M. Night Shamalamadingdong. I knew I was done with him after 'The Happening', but figured I'd at least give this a shot on DVD. I'm well aware that M. Night did not direct this, so it is obviously not his burden to shoulder the blame alone. Thankfully, there is plenty of blame to go around.

Horrible acting, horrible script, horrible story. Are you telling me that the Prince of effing Darkness has nothing better to do than screw around with 4 assholes in an elevator in South Philadelphia?? A particularly awful performance from Chris Messina as the worst cop in America.

These characters must be the stupidest people in the country. No one thinks to try to climb out of the elevator until 45 minutes into the film. You know you're an r-tard when the police have to TELL the people to 'use your cellphones for light!!' after an hour and a half of standing around in the dark twiddling their thumbs.

Just a really badly thought out story with little to none going for it. A couple jumps and interesting camera work save it from being a total abortion, but only just barely.
