Review of Deuces Wild (2002) by Tsubaki S — 01 Sep 2009
A weak gangland movie in the vein of The Outsiders. We also have a star from that movie in the form of Fritzy (Matt Dillon) as the head mob boss of the city. Everything goes through him. Frankly, I think he played a horrible role and it's good he wasn't mentioned on the forefront of the cast.
Considering there was a lot more drama thrown into the film, I think most of it was unneccessary. Leon (Stephen Dorff) carried the majority of the film with his commanding presence, but it was his out of control brother Bobby (Brad Renfro) who benefited more out of the movie.
It was more or less centered around him and with Leons death, got him out of the city which took both his brothers lives.
