Review of Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo (2005) by Jose M — 20 Jun 2013
I was tempted to see this film after film critics Roger Ebert and Richard Roeper trashed it in one hilarious segment on their TV show At the Movies. Ebert perfectly summed it up with "your movie sucks" and Roeper was smug and nodded in disapproval while restraining to laugh.
Their review was funnier than all the jokes thrown in European Gigolo. Now, I actually liked the first one, but here the film is flat out bad. Really bad, it set the standards really low. It's miraculously bad that it is tempting to watch it.
I would have given it a 1/2 star, but I was humored by how unfunny this film is. Besides, there are worst films than this. I'm talking about those amateurishly shot on their mother's camera which that's something.
Right?
