As far as I can tell, this was the last teen movie that was truly great, (at least until the fairly accurate Superbad). For some reason, it never quite got the respect it deserved, but I'm glad to see it climbing the ranks of cult status. It's spectacular and deserves every bit of respect that other movies where people fuck pies steal.
If you missed this, you're absolutely abusing your privilege as a filmgoer.
